Remote Internship Opportunities 

At Children’s Art Museum of India (CAMI), we are looking for passionate and creative individuals to join us as remote interns. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build your portfolio, and contribute to a meaningful initiative that nurtures young artistic talent. This internship is open for school and college students only.

Please note that these internships are unpaid and for experience-building purposes only.

1. Graphic Design & Illustration Intern

Role Overview:

As a Design & Illustration Intern, you will play a vital role in crafting engaging digital content for CAMI’s social media, educational resources, and marketing campaigns. Your work will inspire young artists and contribute to our mission of making art education accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design eye-catching social media posts, banners, and promotional graphics.

  • Create original digital illustrations for educational content and creative projects.

  • Develop engaging templates for Instagram stories, reels, and newsletters.

  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to brainstorm design ideas.

  • Ensure branding consistency across all visual content.

  • Build engaging characters, scenes, and concept art for young audiences.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Procreate.

  • Strong sense of color, typography, composition, and digital illustration techniques.

  • Ability to interpret briefs and create artwork suited for children and young audiences.

  • Passion for children’s art, creativity, and digital storytelling.

  • Ability to work independently and meet design deadlines.

2. Community Building Intern

Role Overview: As a Community Building Intern, you will play a key role in strengthening CAMI’s relationships with schools, parents, and young artists. Through your work, you will foster an inclusive and vibrant art community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and promoting community events and virtual workshops.

  • Engage with CAMI’s online audience by responding to comments and messages.

  • Collaborate with the outreach team to connect with schools and community partners.

  • Create and share stories highlighting student artwork and community initiatives.

  • Collect feedback to improve CAMI’s programs and community engagement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Enthusiasm for art education and community outreach.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

 

3. Branding & Identity Design Intern

Role Overview:
As a Branding Intern, you will play a key role in shaping and refining CAMI’s visual identity. Your designs will help establish a strong, recognizable brand presence across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design logos, brand elements, and visual identity guidelines for CAMI’s campaigns and initiatives.

  • Develop marketing materials such as brochures, presentation decks, and merchandise designs.

  • Create branded templates for social media, ensuring consistency across platforms.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to design promotional materials that enhance brand recognition.

  • Experiment with typography, colors, and design elements to create a compelling brand aesthetic.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.

  • Knowledge of branding principles, color psychology, and typography.

  • Ability to create visually appealing and memorable brand designs.

  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for details and aesthetics.

4. Growth Strategy Intern

Role Overview:
As a Growth Strategy Intern, you will focus on brainstorming and implementing innovative ideas to expand CAMI’s reach, engage more users, and improve our programs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, marketing, and thinking outside the box.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on trends in online art education, marketing, and audience engagement.

  • Suggest and test creative strategies to increase CAMI’s user engagement and visibility.

  • Identify new collaboration opportunities with schools, artists, and brands.

  • Develop innovative ideas for online events, challenges, and community-building initiatives.

  • Analyze social media insights and website traffic to suggest improvements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.

  • Interest in marketing, branding, and community engagement.

  • Enthusiastic about innovation and brainstorming new ideas.

  • Passion for the arts and education sector.
